Sources reveal that after Jab We Met, Kareena will be attempting hard core comedy and will be a riot in the film. Kareena plays the character of Ekta, who is a soap addict for the saas bahu kind of serials. Reports are that she is simply amazing !!

Around the same time Billoo Barber releases too that has Kareena performing on an item song. Sources have it that the song that Kareena dances is one of the highlights of Billo Barber.

"Kareena's song is crucial to the story of Billoo Barber. Like Kareena's famous song in Don that people cannot forget, the 'Billoo Barber' number would be unforgettable too. Kareena's name will become synonymous with the number", says a source.

Big B to shave off beard for 'Pa'?

Mumbai, (IANS) Director R. Balakrishna of "Cheeni Kum" fame has once again teamed up with Amitabh Bachchan in "Pa" and says he is giving the legendary actor a complete makeover. Big B is said to have agreed to cast off his beard for this emotional drama.
"I'm not going to tell you whether I've asked Mr. Bachchan to shave off his beard or not. But for sure, this is going to be his most startling makeover in recent times, Balakrishna, who is also known as Balki, told IANS."While Abhishek will be given a more intrinsic personality change, I'm totally changing Mr. Bachchan's look," he added.After "Sarkar" and "Sarkar Raj", Amitabh and Abhishek will again be seen playing father and son in a film.And how different would it be from Balki's earlier film with the senior Bachchan?" 'Pa' would be a far more emotional story than 'Cheeni Kum', which was far more caustic, dry and sharp-tongued."Actually, 'Cheeni Kum' was inspired by one scene in Raj Khosla's 'Dostana' where Mr. Bachchan had confronted Zeenat Aman. The look of utter disdain and sarcasm in his eyes remained with me. That's how his character in 'Cheeni Kum' was born."In "Pa", Big B plays someone he has never played before."While in 'Cheeni Kum' he was a character I had seen earlier, in 'Pa' he's a totally different person. It' a very emotional father-son story, but the emotions won't be melodramatic."In "Cheeni Kum" Balki roped in Tabu to play Amitabh's love interest, but there is no romantic track for him in the forthcoming movie. Vidya Balan is cast as Abhishek's love interest."Amitji will have no love interest. His world revolves around his son. Will I borrow from Mr. Bachchan's real-life relationship with Abhishek? No. In fact, I know them so well that I'll make sure I avoid all references to their real life."And what about the music?"Ah Ilayaraja again - I worship the man. And the cinematography will be by none other than P.C. Sreeram, again after 'Cheeni Kum'," Balki said.

Bollywood Gossip : Authorities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have ordered the Salman Khan-starrer Bollywood film God Tussi Great Ho off screens in this Gulf nation following complaints that it violated Islamic teachings.The National Media Council ordered that the movie, released in India and here on Friday, not be screened in the UAE after receiving scores of complaints from viewers.The movie also stars Priyanka Chopra and Amitabh Bachchan, and is considered a remake of the 2003 Hollywood production Bruce Almighty starring Jim Carrey.In the film, Bachchan plays the role of god as he meets Salman's character Arun Prajapati who blames god for all his problems."Those who saw the movie told the authorities they were shocked to find that Bachchan played the role of 'god'," reports said.

Ranbir Kapoor Vs Salman Khan : At 15 august

If it is all about Bollywood, August is going to be one of the hottest months to look out for with a skew of flicks set to release. The list goes about Akshay Kumar’s Singh Is Kinng, Rock On, Heroes, Mumbai Cutting and many more. But what will make the month all the more interesting is the hype of two of the most awaited films, Salman Khan starring God Tussi Great Ho and Ranbir Kapoor`s Bachna Ae Haseeno as they are releasing on the same date. It is a hardcore fact that Yash Raj has been suffering at the box office as their past few releases failed to please the audience and now when they are looking for the most happening of their banner BAH, it’s jarring with GTGH that boasts of all the big heads including Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra. It can be recalled that Rumi Jaffery’s film was scheduled to be released on July 18 along with Aziz Mirza’s Kismat Connection. But now it has been delayed to August 15. On this issue, director Rumi Jaffery stated, “Yes, the release date of my film has been shifted because of special effects which form an integral part of the film. It requires a lot of time. That’s why we have had to postpone it till August.” However, he is least worried about the clashing, as he is confident about his product as stated by him.

Abhishek Bachchan's entry into the superhero league joining Krrish,the film is directed by Goldie Behl and film shows Abhishek as superhero 'Drona'.Drona is a 2008 Bollywood fantasy-action film starring Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Jaya Bachchan and Kay Kay Menon.The film was initially due to be released around December 2007 but due to a special effects procedure, the film is schedule to release in October.The trailer shows that release is around October 2nd.Which means it will be battling it out with 'Kidnap' an Imran Khan movie also releasing on the same date.

The ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ stars were on Salman Khan’s ‘Dus Ka Dum’, Deepika looked gorgeous in green while Minnisha glowed in orange and Ranbir looked handsome in a pin stripped suit. However; Bips was missing from the scene as the actress has still not buried her hatchet with Salman Khan and so she decided to skip being on the show. By the way Bips was not missed at all in fact the three stars Ranbir, Deepika and Minnisha shared a great rapport and made the show a perfect one to be viewed on Indepedence day. Akshay, Salman and Katrina always garner attention. For the first time, this interesting trio has been brought under the same frame at Dus Ka Dum. The show is roping more celebrities day by day to higher up the TRP. And Salman who is also now part of the TRP game did not hesitate to withstand his wildest enemy beside his beau and very calmly digested some tongue-in-cheeks jokes from Akki.
The episode is filled up with huge fireworks and ironic comments. While Salman and Akshay continuously passed sarcastic comments on one another, Katrina stood there with a confused face. She was not able to understand the head and tail of their discussion. Intentionally or unintentionally, Akki went up to ask some personal questions to Salman. He also raised up their marriage issue and ended up asking in a diplomatic way as when he will marry his beautiful girlfriend Katrina.

There are certain subjects that appeal to the audiences more than the critics.” He adds, “I am never really going to make a film for an individual, or to please a reviewer. A critic, after all, is just an individual.” “Kismat… was a much larger release than Jab We Met. The perception that it has not done well is created because of the reviews. In due course, the figures will start coming out and you will know. My earlier film, Vivaah got terrible reviews but it ran for 48 weeks. Audiences don’t bother about reviews, beyond a point. It is more about audiences waiting for your film to release.” Shahid who has been criticized by the critics for looking younger than co-star, Vidya Balan says, “I take all criticism very seriously. Salman Khan: I dont Think that SRK will be my friend



Actor, Salman Khan this time doesn’t resort to blogging to hit out at old friend SRK as he has finally opened his mouth about his recent spat with SRK. Salman Khan said, “I cannot really tell you what happened at the party.But I won’t deny that there is a problem between us. There has been this kind of animosity between us for a long time. In fact, this is the third time we have fought. We have tried being friends, but it just doesn’t seem possible. We are different people.” Quizzed if he would try to sort out the differences with SRK he said, “No, why should I? Not interested. We are two different individuals. He may be a great person, but his values and scruples are not the same as mine. I can’t continue being a buddy to someone I don’t get along with. I am not the kind who would pretend to be great friends with someone and then back-bite about the person.” He finally signs of saying, “It’s sad but that’s how life goes. His way of thinking is totally different from mine. Doesn’t look like we can be friends.” Well looks like the Karan-Arjun of Bollywood have finally called off their friendship forever. Leela Bhansali was keen to sign Hrithik Roshan for his next movie. The director even approached the Jodha Akbar star and was rumored to have sent him the script of the movie, but Hrithik has now changed his mind. A source reveals, “Bhansali and Hrithik have always had cordial relations, and Bhansali has been in talks with him for three-fours years for various projects, but Hrithik is very particular when it comes to matters professional.” “After Saawariya, Bhansali and Hrithik have been in talks, Hrithik even went to the director’s house for meetings, and just when everything seemed set, he backed out,” adds the source. Hrithik Roshan who is shooting his home-production Kites in Mexico, informed Bhansali about his rejection two days back.


Singh Is Kingg : The movie review

Singh is Kinng was the most hyped movie this season. The Anees Bazmee+Katrina+Akshay combo in a Vipul Shah package is the reason enough. Audiences had decided in advance that they will like the movie and so happens, as the movie truly lives up to the hype.It is a typical Anees Bazmee comedy (ala No Entry and Welcome) bound to entertain the masses. Its a story about the clumsy cute Sardar with a golden heart who wants to do good but messes it up. Troubled by this menace the villagers pack him off to Australia to bring a fellow villager Lucky Singh back home. The story unfolds with a series of comic mishaps that happen as Happy Singh sets out to do a good deed. He lands up in Egypt instead of Australia where we meets Sonia (Katrina Kaif) and falls in love with her. They single a couple of songs there and Happy Singh sets out to Australia again to find Lucky Singh. Lucky Singh (Sonu Sood) plays a ruthless underworld don in Australia and surprisingly his fellow gangsters are only sardars. In the comic chaos of getting Lucky Singh back, Happy Singh finds himself becoming the king of the underworld. Overall, the movie is a complete mindless entertainer like Anees Bazmee’s previous entertainers. It is a total paisa wasool. Akshay Kumar is truly the king of the movie - a complete entertainer with superb comic timing. He shares amazing chemistry with not only Katrina but also Om Puri. Some of their dialogues are superb. The movie has been packaged, promoted and marketed well and you know just what to expect from the movie. This works in favor of the film which is all set to break box office records.
Singh is Kinng Gets Record Breaking Opening.
Vipul Shah’s movie Singh is Kinng starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif had a record breaking opening across India on Friday. The movie collected 8 crore rupees on the first day of its release and the weekend collections are expected to go upto Rs.28-30 crore rupees. Box-office gurus are expecting the movie is very capable of breaking the first week collections of Om Shanti Om which till date is the highest first week grosser. Om Shanti Om earned 37 crores in its first week. The first week collections of the movie are expected to go as high as 45 crores and this would be a new box office record.
