Their friendship traces back to the time when the Sri Lankan beauty got along really well with Anil Kapoor during the shoot of their upcoming action thriller. 

And by virtue of that, Sonam and her became friends as well. Turns out Jacqueline also admires Sonam for her sense of fashion. Great going, gals!

The first look of the film broke with a theatrical teaser trailer recently and this has added to the huge interest and buzz already existing for the film.
Starring Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, the film also brings together the award winning pair of A. R. Rahman and Gulzar, who along with Yash Chopra, are creating some wonderful and meaningful music for this romantic film.
The Yash Chopra Romance is scheduled for a Diwali November 13th 2012 release, the festive time when Yashji’s movies over the years have lit up homes worldwide.

Doing 'Chak De! India' with SRK was a mistake: Sagarika Ghatge

The actress hopes to take mature decisions in the future will star in new film with Emraan Hashmi

Most newbie actresses would give a hand as well as a leg to act in a Shah Rukh Khan film. However, Sagarika Ghatge, who had quite a prominent role in SRK's Chak De! India feels that signing the film was `a mistake`. 

The actress elaborates, `I don't know if it was a good or a bad move. Now hopefully, I will make matured choices and won't repeat the mistake again. It was not a planned move.`

Sagarika will soon be seen in Shamim Desai's next, where she will play Emraan Hashmi's love interest. In fact, she says that Emraan was almost like an inspiration for her.

She says, `As a senior actor, Emraan always comes prepared on the sets. I bonded well with him and he inspired me to do my homework too before arriving for the shoots.`

India International Jewellery Week 2012 :Glimpse

It was a complete glamour and glitz turnout from the television and film industry for the annual jewellery show

India International Jewellery Week 2012 opened yesterday (August 19) with much fanfare. Inaugurated by Sonam Kapoor and Hema Malini, the program began with a showing of the Grand Envi and Nizam Collections by Gitanjali in association with GR8 for the BETI show.

The crème de la crème of the TV industry and film personalities walked the ramp to support the fight against female foeticide, acid attacks and women’s illiteracy, and to help acid attack victim Sonali Mukherjee.
Real life couples Vivian DSena and Vahbhiz, Samir Soni and Neelam, Rashmi Desai and Nandish Sandhu, Sonu Nigam and Madhurima, and Rohit and Maanasi Roy walked the ramp hand in hand, while Narayani Shastri, Soumya Seth, Priyanka Bassi, Sayali Bhagat, Tusshar Kapoor, Raima Sen, Zayed Khan, Jay Soni, Ishita Sharma and Mauli Ganguly took to the stage with their co-stars. Vivek Oberoi and Sayali Bhagat accompanied their mothers, while Jai Kalra graced the stage with his three-year-old daughter Anya in tow….awww, how cute!
Everyone was dressed in beautiful Indian outfits by Vikram Phadnis, Swapnil Shinde, Barkha and Sonzal, Mohini and Neeta Lulla – and the clothes matched perfectly with the timeless emerald pieces, the traditional Indian jewellery styles such as rose cut diamonds, kundan work, enamel and Victorian pieces, and watches from Gitanjali.
The showstopper was the melodious Sonu Nigam, who sang a tribute to the BETI show.
