Shah Rukh Khan, who said he was ashamed for the Wankhede episode, has also said the insults directed at him were vicious.
"A man in a yellow shirt spoke rudely to me. If he comes in front of me, I'll beat him up. He said things that were trash, unsecular and unworthy of my repeating them. I have lived in Mumbai for more than 20 years; my home and family are here. I'm as much Indian as that idiot, who made the comment, or anyone else in this country. Thankfully, it took me 10 minutes to understand what he said. Otherwise I'd have caught him right there and slapped him. I don't teach my children what is Hindu and what is Muslim," SRK said.
