Kaminey actor Shahid Kapoor filed a non-cognisable complaint against a woman who has been harassing him for the last six months at the Versova police station on Saturday
Vastavikta Pandit, daughter of late actor Kulbhushan Pandit, apparently shifted residence to Versova to be closer to the actor and has been monitoring his every move.
The actor tried to ignore her initially but as her actions persisted, he decided to take police action.
Senior Police Inspector Nandkumar Mehtar, Versova police station, said, “The woman is in her mid 30s and has been approaching Kapoor at odd hours, claiming to be his wife.
She even dodges security guards to ring his doorbell in the wee hours of morning. Whenever Kapoor gets out of his house, she follows him and sometimes even stops his car in the middle of the road.”
