Sanjay Dutt caught kissing co-star Vidya, wife Manayata is upset
There is strife between newlyweds Sanjay Dutt and Manayata… after our Munna Bhai was caught snogging co-star Vidya Malvade.
Both Sanjay and Vidya play husband and wife in Sanjay Gadhvi’s Kidnap, and for the role a kiss was required. This hasn’t gone down well with Sanjay’s wife Manayata, who is fuming.
A source says, “Sanjay Gadhvi is a director who would not compromise on anything. He even had a kissing scene in his film Dhoom 2 with Hrithik and Aishwarya Rai. Although the Bachchans did not take to it kindly, Gadhvi had retained the scene in the film. Similarly in Kidnap he was pretty sure that the scene was required and that’s why he went ahead with it. Dutt, who is a thorough professional, did the scene without any fuss and the scene was canned peacefully.”
The source adds, “However, when Manyata learnt about it, she was quite upset. Though Sanju explained to her that the scene was indeed required and in his profession such scenes were at times unavoidable, she was far from convinced.”
