Unforgettable tour called off

Our source tells us, "This decision comes after every possible attempt was made by us to try and find a solution as the local promoter's defaulted making it impossible for us to progress forward. It's very sad for those fans who had purchased tickets in Rotterdam and Oberhausen."However another source close to the tour says that the tour has been called off due to the lack of response. "The official take is that local promoters defaulted and did not meet with requirements of Wizcraft and stars on the tour. But one of the main reasons why the tour has been called off is due to the mediocre ticket sales. The tickets are very expensive for the performance and the meet and greet with the stars comes at another additional price. As compared to the Unforgettable Tour, the tickets of SRK's Temptations' shows were much cheaper. And so with another Temptations tour in the pipeline in Europe including Germany, fans are just not queuing up to buy these expensive tickets."We contacted Amitabh Bachchan and asked him why the two shows had been cancelled and whether the price of tickets was an issue. He replied, through a text message, saying, "The promoters of the show have defaulted on the contract... I'm not authorised to give a comment on this. And the ticket price is not an issue. All our other nine shows in Canada, Trinidad and in entire USA and London were sold out."A source from Wizcraft adds, "The first segment has come to an end but the magic will restart in Australia, Europe, Africa, South Africa, Middle East, South Asia and of course India in the subsequent phases starting November."However music composer Shekhar, who is part of the tour, has a different take. He says, "The show was called of because it would be unfair for other European cities. The second segment would be in Europe so we will start with Rotterdam and Oberhausen."Well, time to wait till November.
