Shahid Kapoor finally says yes to Prabhu Deva!

Not for the sequel to Salman Khan’s Wanted, but to a brand new film

Not long ago, actor-choreographer-turned-director Prabhu Deva was chasing Shahid Kapoor for a sequel to his Salman Khan-starrer Wanted. He loved the actor’s performance in Kaminey, and so got in touch with him. But Sasha was just not interested.

Now it seems that Teri Meri Kahaani actor has agreed to star in a Prabhu film with a fresh subject. The project, titled Namak, will be based on the drug trade in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Apparently, Shahid and Prabhu bonded big time at the recently held International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards in Singapore, where Shahid was the host and Prabhu was the chief choreographer. And that’s how Sasha finally said ‘yes’ to PD.
