Blood Money
Kunal Khemu, an old favourite of the Bhatt camp, plays a very ambitious man who gets a job in a company run by two brothers Manish Chaudhuri and Sandip Sikcand. Kunal's wife Arzoo (Amrita Puri) also comes to Cape Town along with her husband.
Kunal's new job provides him all the luxuries in life but slowly and steadily he starts to realise that there is a bigger truth than what meets the eyes. Finally Kunal understands that he is trapped in a whitecollar crime conglomerate.

Mahesh Bhatt initially wanted to shoot the film in Antwerp, Belgium but later the shooting venue was changed to Cape Town," This picture was going to be shot in Antwerp in Belgium. But people there of Indian origin who, I think, hailed from Gujarat, took exception to this particular story because they thought they would be shown in bad light. They thought the villain is loosely based on Bharat Shah, which is not true. They, in fact, ganged up against us and stopped us from shooting there. That's why we had to shoot in Cape Town."
Hollywood had also made a film 'Blood Diamond' based on the diamond mafia. The film had become an international success and thus audiences will be tempted to draw a comparison between both the films.

Kunal Khemu's last film was 'Golmaal 3' but he went unnoticed among other actors. He hardly gets a solo hero role and thus he will be hoping for a good finish. The songs of 'Blood Money' have not generated any buzz and that can go against the film. However, it's a Bhatt camp's film and that promises a fast paced screenplay. Small budget is another plus point for the film, but the team of 'Blood Money' needs to wait for another one week for the box office verdict. (With additional inputs from IANS)
