Asin desperate for hindi remake of her debut Tamil film

After being part of south remakes like Ghajini and Ready, Asin feels her first Telugu film should be remade in Hindi. 

South films are high on demand these days in Bollywood. Asin debuted with Ghajini, which was a remake of a Tamil film. She thinks her debut Telugu film would serve perfectentertainment for Hindi audiences. 

'Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi' has a very nice subject which I think could be remade into a Hindi film. It was my first film in Telugu for which I got Filmfare award for the best actress," said Asin who has already worked in two South remakes. 

Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi was produced and directed by Puri Jagannath. He is high on remaking his Telugu films in Hindi. Ravi Taja played male lead in the film. When asked who does she think perfect for male lead opposite her, Asin smartly answered, "I am not going to choose the actors because that's upto the directors. Whoever he thinks the best. As a story I loved being part of the original and I think it should work for the entire Indian audiences as well."
