Salman Kahn's movie Veer Is stalled.

The latest movie to bear the brunt of the economic meltdown is Salman Khan's Veer. The shooting of the mega budget film has been stalled, according to Mumbai Mirror.

Well-placed sources from the industry say Veer, a period drama set in the 18th century has been put on hold as big buyers and corporate houses like Reliance and Ashtavinayak have taken a back seat in financing films. On account of the sets, the look of the cast members and high production value in terms of special effects, Veer has already run up a very high bill. It was being shot in full swing until recently, and is 20 per cent complete now.

Veer director Anil Sharma denied news of there not being buyers for the film and said the movie was far from complete, and that they'd continue with the shoot very soon.
