Yuvvraaj director Subhash Ghai wanted Salman Khan to dye his hair blonde for the film. The showman asked Salman to change his hair colour because he wanted Sallu to look different than he usually does. According to Mumbai Mirror, Ghai came up with various ideas to enhance the personality of Khan's character.
Ghai says he was toying with the idea of giving Salman a different look, and asked him to go blonde on the first day of the shoot in Austria. The superstar was shocked and refused to do anything of the sort.
In fact, Salman did not show up on the sets for two hours, causing Ghai to worry about whether he had upset Khan with his idea. But his worry soon turned into a pleasant surprise, when Sallu walked in, his hair dyed blonde just the way Ghai wanted it!
Yuvvraaj is set to release on November 21, 2008 and also stars Anil Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Zayed Khan.
