Recently, Kangana Ranaut not only impressed Madhur Bhandarkar but also shocked him. Busy editing his forthcoming film, Fashion, Madhur had asked his assistant to fill in for him for an hour while Kangana was dubbing for the film.
As dubbing is a tedious and an emotionally draining experience, an artiste generally takes three to four days to complete it. However, Kangana was so quick that before Madhur could even reach the studio, she had finished a major chunk of her dubbing. That too, without any retakes. In spite of the assistant director insisting on breaks, she refused and finished the entire dubbing at one go without any breaks.
According to Madhur, "Kangana has a very emotional role in the film. I thought she would take a long time to dub. But she stunned me by going through the entire script only once and dubbing it at a stretch."
Kangana's character in Fashion is reportedly based on Delhi model Geetanjali Nagpal, who was on the roads sometime back. The film also stars Priyanka Chopra, Mugdha Godse and Arjan Bajwa in key roles.
