Reality star Jade Goody has withdrawn from the Indian version of Celebrity Big Brother after being diagnosed with cervical cancer, claiming that she tricked into revealing her cancer on Indian Reality show Bigg Boss.

She shot to fame in 2002 as a contestant in Big Brother 3, becoming a figure of ridicule in the media, depicted as a pig by one tabloid newspaper and denounced for being two-faced and ignorant. Last year, she again made headlines for the wrong reasons when she was accused of racism towards Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty in the UK version of Celebrity Big Brother.

Jade Goody broke down in tears as she arrived back in the UK after being diagnosed with cancer. Goody, learned she had cervical cancer while appearing in Bigg Boss-the Indian version of Big Brother.

The mother of two flew into London's Heathrow Airport after a seven-hour flight from Mumbai, India. Looking tired and drained the visibly upset Goody told airport personnel escorting her through the terminal: "I don't want any more I can't do this."

The reality star revealed doctors initially gave her the all clear, and sent her away with just pain killers for period pain. Jade was told of her cancer diagnosis while in the Indian Big Brother house last month, but now claims she wasn't aware the conversation was being filmed.

She told GMTV that her symptoms were initially dismissed: 'I was in hospital for a week, and they didn't do anything because they didn't know what it was, even though it was the fourth time I had been there for the same reason. 'They did a belly scan and everything was fine, even my blood, so they said to me it was either a bad period or stress.

'In the end I began to feel really frustrated, like they were insulting my intelligence, I thought they thought I was being a hypochondriac and lying about it. 'I made a conscious effort to tell them that I was going away for a long period of time and they wouldn't be able to get in touch, and would that be OK. They said I was fine and I was fit and healthy.'
