Mumbai, Sept 09: Farhan Akhtar not only has talent, he even has an eye for talent. The director turned actor who changed things for the best for actor Saif Ali Khan through his directorial venture ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, is now set to flip fate of Harman Baweja.
The director par excellence Farhan has zeroed in on Harman Baweja for his next flick. Though the flick is yet to roll out officially, sources tell us that the movie is going to be one of Farhan’s best works till date.
A news daily even quoted a source as saying, "Farhan has been working on a script for a long time and had Harman in mind for the part. He met the actor and narrated the script to him. Harman loved it, and instantly signed it. The movie will be produced under Excel Entertainment, a joint venture between Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani."
Wondering what the movie is all about?
Well, like all Farhan’s flick till date, this film too derives inspiration from the director’s favourite theme - friendship. The script is based on friendship and is a realistic movie, which shows the journey of friendship and life.
Though the female lead is yet to be finalised, the good news is that Farhan is not considering Priyanka Chopra. Going by the sad chemistry between the real life couple, it’s a wise choice on Farhan’s end!
