They are Internet service provider in Nepal. There is tough competition here. The major ISP provider in Nepal are:
1: NTC ( Nepal Telecoms)
2:Worldlink
3:UTL(United Telecoms)
4: Cable nets (eg: Himalayan sky, Space time etc)
NTC :- Its providing to various types of internet service . One is old dail up internet ,Second CDMA Dail up using Usim like sky data card and the latest is ADSL which is cheap in term Unlimited use and speed. ADSL rates rs 904 for 128 Kbps and 18 for 256Kbps. ADSL is most reliable service due its constant speed . I have noticed consumer of ADSL happy rather then others . Now NTC provides other CDMA DATA Service using SKY DATA Card. Its a wireless service. You will need a CDMA wireless modem to use . But its negative point is its no cheap. You will charged on the basis of data you used . eg 10 kb =0.5 paisa.
World Link : Its one of Nepal's most premium ISP . Its has various types of internet service . Most popular Cable net which is broadband service which is little more expensive then ADSL . Its that started its wireless service called Zoom . World link also have started its VOIP service .SO people having internet n voice head set can call aboard at cheap rate .
UTL : Recently UTL has started nepal most cheaps internet service. Its call UTL's usim . Its also wireless internet service using CDMA DATA CARD READER. Its cost 800 rs for USIM . Activation requries near roung 1 full day . You will have to purchase DATA CARD READER which will cost you round 2000 to 4500 . UTL says its providing speed of 155 kbps but in relality its slower than regular dail up internet . Its download speed ist only abt 2-4kbps . Its very very slow though its cheap . UTL still says its slow due DATA CARD READER problem but its fake . I have tried its using diffrent DATA CARD READER but results are shame .. So i advice you not opt for utl usim . I advice you all to go with NTC's ADSL which is cheap but fast having download speed of 11-14kbps . You will be satisfied with ADSL service
